SMS Messaging Policy

Effective Date: June 17, 2026 · Last Updated: June 17, 2026

Ridgeline Labs LLC operates FieldSpoke, a field-service management platform. This policy explains how FieldSpoke sends SMS (text) messages, how you provide consent to receive them, the frequency of those messages, and how to get help or stop receiving them. FieldSpoke is a direct software-as-a-service offering and sends messages only to its own registered users and their consenting customers. We never message purchased, rented, or third-party lists.

1. What messages we send

All FieldSpoke text messages are transactional. They include:

  • Two-factor authentication (2FA): one-time verification codes used to confirm a phone number or secure an account.
  • Account & service notifications: appointment reminders, estimate notifications, and invoice notifications sent by a service business to its customers.

We do not send marketing or promotional text messages.

2. How you opt in (consent)

You will only receive text messages from FieldSpoke after you affirmatively opt in through one of the following paths:

  • Business account owners (2FA): A business account owner enters their own mobile phone number in the FieldSpoke web app at Settings → Business Phone and taps Send Verification Code. This explicit, user-initiated action requests a one-time passcode and constitutes consent to receive verification text messages at that number.
  • Customers of a FieldSpoke business:A customer provides their mobile number to a FieldSpoke business and affirmatively consents—by checking an opt-in box at the time of booking or when being added as a customer—to receive SMS appointment reminders, estimates, and invoice notifications. Consent is recorded per customer.

The customer SMS opt-in as it appears on a live public booking page (for example app.fieldspoke.com/book/demo-biz): the “Send me SMS appointment reminders” checkbox is optional, unchecked by default, and appears only after a phone number is entered. Submitting the booking does not require opting in.

3. Message frequency

Message frequency varies and depends on your activity. We send messages only in response to your actions—for example, a verification code each time you request one, or a reminder, an estimate, or an invoice notification tied to a specific appointment or transaction. This is not a recurring or scheduled marketing program.

4. Cost

Message and data rates may apply.FieldSpoke does not charge for text messages, but your mobile carrier's standard messaging and data rates may apply depending on your plan.

5. Help (HELP) and opt-out (STOP)

  • Help: Reply HELP to any message, or email support@fieldspoke.com for assistance.
  • Opt out: Reply STOP to any message at any time to unsubscribe and stop receiving further text messages. After you reply STOP, we will send a single confirmation message and then cease messaging that number.

6. Privacy of your mobile information

Mobile phone numbers and SMS opt-in consent are never shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes, and are never sold under any circumstances. We use your mobile information solely to deliver the transactional messages described above. For full details, see our Privacy Policy and Terms of Service.
