Open the work you need before losing signal
While connected, open the jobs and checklists you expect to use. Offline access depends on the information already downloaded. A checklist that is not on the device shows Checklist unavailable offline and asks you to reconnect.
Watch the connection and sync banners while working. Changes can be waiting for a connection, actively syncing, or failed. These states need different responses; repeatedly tapping a job action does not resolve an underlying connection or permission problem.
Open Pending Changes
Find the affected change
Open More, then Pending Changes, or tap a failed-sync banner. The list includes pending changes, failed changes, and photo uploads.
Read the current message
Changes waiting to sync when you're back online means reconnect first. Syncing changes… means sending is in progress. A failed change needs you to inspect the row and its available actions.
Retry only where offered
Use Retry on a failed item when available. Waiting items resume through the sync process and do not have the same retry control. A plan, permission, or authorization message requires that access issue to be resolved.
Avoid discarding work you still need
If a row says Not saved yet — will be lost if you close the app, keep the app open while you restore the connection and address the change. Do not assume every in-progress action has been saved for a later restart.
Dismiss is a discard action. Its confirmation names the change that will be permanently lost; Dismiss All Failed discards multiple failed changes. Use those controls only when you intend to give up the listed work. When the screen reports No pending changes, review the affected job if you need to confirm a particular note, photo, or status.
