Prepare the business and customer

Start with one real job whose customer, service address, schedule, and agreed price you know. Owners and admins can update organization settings; managers can carry out the job workflow using the business details already configured.

  1. Check your business details

Open Settings, then General. Review Business Information and Preferences, including the organization timezone. Save each section you change.

  2. Add the customer and property

Open Customers and create the customer's contact record. Add the service address as a property. A job needs both the customer and the property where work will happen.

Schedule and assign the visit

  1. Create the job

Open Jobs and choose New Job. Enter a Title and Scheduled Date, select the Customer and Property, and check the Price. Add a description with the instructions the worker needs.

  2. Choose who will do the work

In Assignment, select an Employee or a Crew when available. Add a start and end time if the visit has a specific time window, then choose Create Job.

Complete the work and send the invoice

  1. Record progress

Open the job and use the status actions as work progresses: On My Way, Mark Arrived, then Complete…. In the Complete Job panel, add any completion notes and select Mark as Complete.

  2. Create and send the invoice

Choose Create Invoice on the completed job. Review the resulting invoice and select Send Invoice. Confirm the recipient email and choose Send.

  3. Check the payment record

When payment is received, open the invoice and review Payment Summary and Payment History. Use Record Payment for a payment you need to enter manually.
