Create the repeating schedule

  1. Prepare the first job

Open New Job and enter the title, customer, property, first Scheduled Date, time, price, and assignment.

  2. Turn on recurrence

In Recurrence, select Make this a recurring job. Choose Frequency. If you choose the custom weekly-day option, use Select days and select at least one day.

  3. Set an end when appropriate

Use Stop repeating after for a series that should end on a particular date. Review the repeating settings and select Create Job.

Choose the scope of an edit

Open the recurring job and choose Edit. When asked, select Just this job for an exception, or This and all future jobs for a continuing change. This choice matters for schedule, price, and assignment updates as well as other editable job details.

The series edit provides a Series end date control. Its description states that frequency and repeat days stay unchanged. Do not use an end-date change as a way to change the repeating pattern. If the series cannot be loaded, resolve the error before editing future jobs.

Stop future scheduled visits

The series parent can offer Cancel Future Jobs while the series is active. Read the confirmation carefully: it cancels future scheduled instances and stops future generation, while completed and in-progress visits remain.

After any series change, review the affected schedule. For a single weather delay or customer request, use the one-job scope when that is the outcome you need, then confirm the new appointment with the people involved.
