Change the date, time, or assignment

  1. Open the correct job

From Jobs, open the visit and check its customer, property, and current date. Choose Edit.

  2. Choose recurring scope if prompted

For a recurring visit, choose Just this job for a one-off change, or This and all future jobs when that is the intended scope. Read the choice before changing the schedule.

  3. Update the schedule

Change Scheduled Date, and review Start time and End time. For a multi-day job, also review the end date. Check Assignment if a different employee or crew will handle the visit.

  4. Save and review

Choose Save Changes, then check the Schedule and Assignment sections on the saved job. Confirm the new date and time rather than relying on the values you typed.

Return a skipped visit to the schedule

A skipped job offers a Reschedule status action. This returns it to Scheduled; use Edit to set the actual date and time you want. Changing the status and changing the appointment date are separate decisions.

For a recurring series, a one-off postponement should use Just this job when that is the intended outcome. If the series cannot be loaded, resolve that error before applying changes to future jobs.

Coordinate with the customer and technician

For an urgent change, confirm the new arrangement with the customer and the assigned worker. A job-save confirmation tells you the schedule was saved; it is not a customer-message delivery receipt.

Automated appointment reminders are configured separately in Settings, Reminders. Also review the customer's Communication Preferences and contact details. A reminder schedule should support the new appointment, but it should not be your only confirmation of a same-day change.
