Prepare a clear estimate

  1. Open New Estimate

From Estimates, choose New Estimate. Select the Customer and the Property when relevant to the proposed work.

  2. Describe and price the work

Add the line-item descriptions, quantities, and unit prices. Select catalog services where useful, then review the line totals, tax, and overall total.

  3. Add the remaining details

Use Notes for relevant information and set the validity date if the offer has an end date. Choose Create Estimate when you are ready to save the draft.

Choose email or SMS

Open the saved draft and choose Send Estimate. For email, confirm the Recipient Email and optionally add a personal message. The email includes a PDF. For SMS, select the SMS channel and confirm the recipient phone number; the text includes a link to view and approve the estimate.

Choose Send once and wait for the result. A missing email or phone number should be corrected before sending. Review the recipient in the dialog even when it was filled from the customer's details.

Review the result and next step

Check the estimate status and Send History after sending. Send History shows individual attempts, their channel, recipient, and status. A failed delivery offers Resend Estimate; inspect the recipient and error before trying again.

Approved estimates offer Convert to Job and Convert to Invoice. Converting to a job asks for a title, scheduled date, and property, so you can turn approved work into a scheduled visit. Choose the conversion that fits the work you are ready to do, and review the resulting record before proceeding.
